vision

Film can teach, influence, and motivate. Through the use of film, we aim to raise awareness on important social issues in Vietnam, such as the lack of education and health care.

We have heard many stories about the resilience of the Vietnamese youth and have been inspired to bring these issues to the broader public. We feel fortunate to have obtained the basic necessities that are often taken for granted.

Throughout Vietnam, children often have limited access to resources and opportunities to make their lives better. The cost of education and health care is disproportionately high relative to how much income a family takes home. As a result, families are forced to make the difficult choice between long-term investment and day to day sustenance.

The children of these families are extremely strong-minded; they understand and value the few opportunities that exist for them. They go through great lengths to go to school while helping their families as best they can.

Our film is about the will and determination of these Vietnamese children to achieve a better quality of life for themselves and their families regardless of the struggles and trials they endure. We hope to depict their current and future roles in their families, community, country, and in the world.

It is our hope that this film will engage and raise awareness in our audience. We look to inspire others to take action through having documented our journey throughout Vietnam as we visited each site and talk to the locals in the area.
